  Christmas Jumper Day was a great success, with pupils, staff and even pets getting festive....We had a seasonal trip to Tesco for the switching on of the Christmas lights...And we still have our Christmas Sale with amazing items from our very talented pupils available for you to buy.

  Children in Need at Roman Fields

   

  Thank you to everyone for taking part in Children in Need and
  for raising money for such an amazing charity.

  The pupils and staff had a fantastic time on their 5K charity
  walk.

   

  Well done to Jake for guessing the correct sweets in Jar 1
  and Mason for guessing jar 2, hope you enjoyed them.

  We still have money coming in from the walk so will let you know
  the total amount once we have received all the charity packs.

  

• Friday Transition Group at Roman Fields

  We have been developing our social and team building skills by getting out and about beyond the school gates with recent trips to the Dunstable Downs to fly the kites, the Natural History Museum at Tring, Wendover Woods for a walk and St Albans park.

  

• Teacher News - Dynamic Dom swims to France...

  Wed 16 Oct 2024

  A massive congratulations to Dom who successfully swam the channel from Dover to near Sangatte on the coast of France. He did it in 13 hours 59 minutes and as the only solo swimmer out that day actually beat a relay team. Dom raised £6,700 for Cancer Research UK and British Heart foundation. Well done Dom!

  Thank you to everyone who contributed and attended the Roman Fields Community event and for making it such a success!  A special thank you to The Mayor of Dacorum: William Allen and to Tesco for their continued support and the £1,500 cheque awarded from their Community Grant.

  Following a three day assessment of our practice back in January 2023. We are pleased to share the report with you. 

   

  There were some lovely comments from the assessor I will share just one - 'outcomes for young people at Roman Fields are exceptional.'
